Paint Pen Picture
My sweet friend Katie made this great project and she was kind enough to let me share it with you!
Katie grabbed a white paint pen and an 8 x 10 frame and some fabric to cover the back. She first stretched the fabric over the mat that came with the frame, and tacked it to the backside using her glue gun.
Then, she wrote the lyrics to a song she loved (a Mumford and Sons song I believe) on the glass from the frame. Katie said she was shocked that she made it through the whole thing without making a mistake…the key is to go slow and steady!
I think the way to make it personal is to just write in your own handwriting and embellish as you go! Katie added little hearts throughout the lyrics, which makes it easier to read by breaking up the text.
Next, pop the glass piece into the frame, and then place the fabric piece behind the glass. Close up the back of the frame and you’re good to go!
Isn’t it fun?! A great way to remember the lyrics to a song you love….and there are so many other ways you could use this too! This would be cool to do over a black & white wedding photo with your wedding song…or over your baby’s photo with a lullaby you sing to them or a note to them from their momma!
It’s such a sweet little remembrance~ Thanks for sharing Katie!

Such a sweet idea! Something to do with all those old frames I have. Can’t wait to try one.
