DIY Hardware Store Bracelet
We all have our own favorite sources of inspiration for our craft/DIY projects and one of my favorite places to spark creativity is the hardware store. From nuts and bolts, to PVC pipe, to paint swatches, there is always something that gets my creative wheels turning. When I found this tutorial for a DIY wrap bracelet made mostly from hardware store finds, I knew I had to try it. I shopped at my local Hobby Lobby and Ace Hardware and spent around $20 in supplies to make five or so bracelets. When shopping for the waxed linen, I couldn’t find the fun colors they had in this tutorial, but luckily I found black and white which matched the leather cord I had picked out.
Here are the supplies I used:
- 44 Inches of Leather Cord
- 12 inches of brass ball chain or crystal chain
- 58 inches of waxed linen cord
- A 1/4″ brass hex nut
- A pair of scissors
The finished product!
This simple and creative project only took about 15 minutes so it’s a really fun craft to try while watching your favorite shows at night. What are your favorite quick and easy DIY projects? Share your ideas and you could be featured in one of our next blogs!
Happy crafting!
Rachel
