Hello Everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself, for the future blogs to come. My name is Molly and I am so excited to share blogs with you through Goodsmiths! We are going to have so much fun blogging and sharing our love for crafts and handmade goods. I love every aspect and respect the talent of those who make handmade goods and crafts and all the work that goes into them.

A little bit about myself: I love doing photography, acrylic paintings, sewing at home, and exploring and making my own DIY projects. I also really enjoy following new ideas and trends in the market place that revolve around crafts, handmade goods and DIY projects. I am married to my wonderful husband and we are going to be first time parents, so you may see some projects I am doing myself to get ready for the little one! My degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising and my love for photography, painting, hair and makeup, and anything involving art has evolved me into a bit of a Jack-of-all-Trades! :)

I’m excited to have a fun and creative place to share many ideas, crafts, DIY projects and more with you. This is going to be a place where you can also share your ideas or knowledge with us! Crafts are always growing and changing and we would love to hear from you! So, to start…what kind of posts would you love to see?

Hello all!

My name is Rachel and I’m a current merchandising major/marketing minor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln set to graduate this December(yay!).  I grew up in Omaha, NE so most of my weekends and holidays are spent with my family and friends in Omaha.  In my spare time I like to sew purses, totes, and clutch purses.  I’ve dabbled in just about every craft under the sun and as long as I’m creating, I’m happy.

I sell my crafts at local farmers markets, crafts fairs, online and I can’t wait to open my Goodsmiths store!   When I’m not working on my crafts, I love to explore blogs such as pinterest.com, designsponge.com, craftzine.com, and burdastyle.com.
